I grew up and still live in a world where death is nothing unusual. By this I mainly mean the death of animals. The environment connected with a farm and hunting brings this even closer. Only recently have I reached a point where I return to all these memories and lived realities and try to reflect them in the content of my work. This project, which is represented through a video game, outlines situations that I primarily associate with the aforementioned hunting and that I would like to draw attention to. The player, as a person who controls the created game using a classic keyboard and mouse, has the possibility to go through several levels that are based on my own 3D scans created during the last year, my own sounds that I recorded, and also two characters scanned into a 3D object and subsequently animated. The main character is myself, and throughout the whole game I guide the player, or the viewer. Moments connected with trophy photography appear here, for example, a topic about which I wrote my theoretical work. The overall atmosphere is complemented by music in the background, created with the participation of Nikolay Tretyachenko, and by the object of a so-called hunting stand (“posed”), which I built in the gallery with the help of Barbora Pospíšilová. The moment when a person sits above the ground on a hunting stand takes me back to childhood, when I spent these evenings with my father. At the same time, it puts some players into a slightly uncomfortable situation, which supports the feelings gained from playing the video game.

The whole project is accompanied by a book that serves as a guide. It should be part of the package purchased together with the game. Because of this, it also becomes a certain artifact that I remember from my childhood. First there was always, of course, the CD on which the game was stored, and next to it an inserted manual that presented the context of the game to me. In my book we can see renders directly from the game environment, as well as descriptions of the individual characters and levels through which the player passes.
